Is an online paralegal degree acceptable?
mom of 3 asked:
I already work in a legal office as an assistant…same work less pay. There are no schools in my area that offer paralegal degree. Would a future attorney accept an online degree? Is it worth it or should I just save my money…..

No.
You really need to move to a city with a Community College.
Now a day mostly all course’s taken online is acceptable, its the new trend as far as education is concern.
Just make sure the school (website) you chose is certify and or legal. This is where it will not be acceptable.
I am looking into becoming a paralegal as well. I’ve found a few online programs that are good. Blackstone(www.blackstone.edu) or Galtin Education, both have respectable paralegal programs, there are a few more also. I asked a lawyer to look over blackstone’s program and he said it looked really good. I have nowhere to take it around me either, so online is the only option for me. Good luck
Just be sure the online university or college is accredited, then your degree is as good as a local college or university.
